Pokémon - Super Potion 1st Edition #90/102 Base Set (1999) German – PSA 8 NM-MT

If you want to specifically complete your German Pokémon Base Set, Super Potion #90/102 in the 1st Edition is a great Single Card to add. This Trainer card comes from the famous 1999 Base Set and has exactly the vintage character many Collectors look for in early Pokémon cards. With its PSA 8 grade, you get a graded card that’s easy to archive and fits nicely into a well-organized Collection. Especially with cards from the Base Set, it’s often not just the artwork that matters, but also the clear identification as a first-edition card.

Super Potion isn’t a spectacular Holo card, but that’s exactly what makes it important to many Collectors. Anyone who wants to build a truly complete, well-organized Base Set rather than focusing only on highlights also needs Trainer cards like this one. The German 1st Edition is especially well suited to collections organized consistently by Language and set. For Collectors who prefer adding individual cards selectively instead of buying large product categories, this PSA-graded version is a very convenient option.

The PSA-8 grade on an older card like Super Potion indicates a very good, collector-friendly Condition with minor signs of wear. This is often exactly the range where vintage cards remain appealing without requiring extreme price points or top grades. Combined with the German 1st Edition, it makes for a straightforward, well-presented collector’s card. Collectors who build their Collection with careful documentation get a card with clear provenance and strong display appeal.

For many Collectors, a vintage collection only feels truly complete when Trainer cards like Super Potion have a place in it, too. With Pokémon cards from the Base Set, it’s worth taking a closer look at cards like these, as they complete the set. The graded version helps keep the card protected for the long term. So if you want to manage your German Base Set thoroughly and transparently, not just superficially, Super Potion is a very worthwhile addition.

Graded Trainer cards are a great choice for Collectors who want to keep their cards clearly organized and protected rather than storing them loose. Super Potion is a classic example of a card that belongs in a vintage collection. Unlike an ungraded Single Card, this one comes with a condition grade and a much sturdier presentation. This is especially nice if you collect several Base Set cards side by side or add to your collection little by little.

This card is especially well suited to collectors who prefer German Pokémon cards with historical significance. Anyone looking to complete the Base Set will also find Super Potion to be an important Trainer card that often goes unnoticed in many collections. Cards like these are what make a Collection feel complete. If you value the set, Language, and consistent Condition, this graded version is a compelling choice.

Compared with the big names in the Base Set, Super Potion often seems less impressive, but it is just as important for a complete Collection. Those who look only for eye-catching cards can easily overlook the Trainer cards that round out a set. This graded PSA 8 version turns exactly this kind of card into a well-presented collectible with a documented Condition. For structured Collectors, this is usually more sensible than an impulsive purchase without a clear set strategy.

Super Potion in PSA 8 is above all a card to collect and preserve. It is not meant to regularly make its way into decks, but to be part of an organized vintage collection. For those who prefer to view Pokémon cards as historical collectibles, this is a fitting choice. The Slab makes the card easy to store neatly while taking up little space, which is a real advantage, especially for larger PSA or Base Set collections.
