Citadel Layer Evil Sunz Scarlet (12ml)

If you want to enhance miniatures with a clear, bright red tone, Citadel Layer Evil Sunz Scarlet is a very practical paint. The 12 ml Layer paint is a great choice when you want to make red areas visibly brighter and more vibrant after the basecoat. This shade adds more visual impact to models with insignias, armor details, or bold color schemes without making the paint job look overdone. For Tabletop hobbyists who want to add accents with precision, it’s an easy addition to their paint collection.

This color is especially useful if you don’t want your army to stop at a dark red. Many hobbyists use layer paints like this to make edges, markings, or striking details more visible. On highly detailed miniatures, Evil Sunz Scarlet helps define individual areas and give the figures more energy. If you’re looking for a red that doesn’t just cover but also really shines, this Citadel Layer paint is a great choice for your next painting project.

For modelers who want to paint their miniatures cleanly and consistently, the right shade of paint often matters more than a single bold color. Evil Sunz Scarlet is a great choice if you’ve already worked with darker reds and now want to bring more depth or light to the surface. This creates a harmonious transition that remains easy to read even on small details. This is especially useful if you want your figures to remain clearly recognizable later in a display case or on the battlefield.

If you paint multiple miniatures in a consistent color scheme, a paint like Evil Sunz Scarlet quickly proves useful in your day-to-day work. It helps you build up red areas consistently and neatly without having to mix a new color each time. This is especially convenient for armies with lots of matching color areas, as it helps you achieve a consistent result. The rich red tone makes models easy to read, especially when painting units with lots of details.

Compared to a deeper shade of red, Evil Sunz Scarlet looks noticeably brighter and more vibrant. This makes the color especially useful when you’ve already applied a basecoat and now want to add visible highlights. Using only a dark red often results in a rather flat finish, while a layer paint like this creates more contrast. For miniatures that are meant to stand out, this is often the deciding difference. It helps structure the paint job and enhance its appearance.

The 12 ml size is conveniently easy to handle for layering colors on miniatures, as you can use it for precise details and recurring accents. Citadel paints are especially practical when you want to keep different color steps clearly separated throughout a project. Evil Sunz Scarlet works well for small corrections, visible edges, and individual models. If you don’t need a large quantity and are looking for a reliable addition to your paint collection, this format is well suited to everyday hobby use.

This Citadel Layer paint works well for armies and individual models where red is an important part of the look. It can be just as useful on classic fantasy figures as on science-fiction miniatures when you want to highlight specific elements. The shade is especially effective on symbols, power cables, fabric, and armor details. If you want to do more than just paint your models and give them a distinct color scheme, Evil Sunz Scarlet is a versatile layer paint for many projects.

When you develop your paintwork step by step, Evil Sunz Scarlet is especially useful as a transition and highlight color. It helps you brighten red areas in a controlled way without losing their base appearance. For Collectors who want to paint their miniatures consistently in the same style, this reliability is often more important than a spectacular individual shade. This creates a cohesive overall look that stands out both on the tabletop and in the display case.
