40k Drukhari: Combat Patrol

If you don't want to assemble a Drukhari army piece by piece, the Combat Patrol is a very convenient solution. The set is part of Warhammer 40.000 and gives you a well-rounded mix of characters, infantry, and vehicles, letting you build a clear picture of the faction right away. This box is a sensible starting point, especially for Beginners or buyers who want to expand their Collection efficiently, because it combines several roles in one product.

The Drukhari Combat Patrol is especially worthwhile if you want more than a single model and would rather get a small army right away. It’s a practical choice if you want to try out a faction or get started with a straightforward purchase in Warhammer 40.000. The box can also be a good choice for experienced Players looking for a solid foundation for a new army. Its appeal lies in the clear selection, which gives you a useful starting point without a lot of searching.

For Collectors, the Combat Patrol is appealing because it brings together several classic Drukhari elements in one box. This creates a cohesive overall look and helps you build a faction as a unified project rather than focusing only on individual outliers. Anyone looking to organize their Collection neatly will find a solid foundation in a box like this. It makes it easier to pursue a clear faction theme instead of adding individual models without a plan.

In-game, a Combat Patrol is especially useful because it combines different roles. So you get not only ground troops, but also models that give your army more options. This is especially helpful for buyers who want to start with a playable foundation right away. If you’d rather approach Warhammer 40.000 with a cohesive set instead of choosing each unit separately, this box is a much more straightforward option.

The mix is what makes the set appealing, as it gives you a variety of building blocks for a Drukhari army all at once. A leader, infantry, and vehicles together paint a much more complete picture than a single unit. For hobbyists, this means they can start a project with a clear direction without having to spend a long time looking for suitable additions first. That’s exactly what makes the box especially appealing to many buyers.

Anyone who wants to build and play right away without a lot of planning will find this box a very sensible choice. You get a small army that works well as a first step or a solid expansion. For Beginners, it’s often less stressful than piecing together separate boxes. For experienced Players, it’s an efficient way to build a new Drukhari force without getting bogged down in the details.

Compared with individual boxes, the Combat Patrol has the advantage when you’re looking for a cohesive foundation. Buying items individually only makes sense if you already know exactly what your army is missing. If you want a solid core instead, the box is usually the better choice. This is especially useful with Drukhari, because the faction works best with a mix of different model types when you think of it as a complete package.

Most buyers will open the Combat Patrol right away, since the set is designed to build a playable unit. However, if you're working on several Warhammer projects at once or collecting Sealed boxes from different factions, you can of course keep the box unopened. But building the models is usually the better choice for getting the most out of the hobby. Especially if you really want to get started with the Drukhari, there's a lot to be said for jumping right in.
