Super Electric Breaker from the Scarlet & Violet series
Super Electric Breaker is an expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series and has the Japanese set code SV8. The set was released in Japan on October 18, 2024, and contains five randomly assorted cards per Booster Pack. Its electric-themed design and focus on Pikachu make the expansion especially interesting to Collectors of Asian Pokémon cards.
Pikachu-ex takes center stage in the set
The central Pokémon in Super Electric Breaker is Pikachu-ex, a Stellar-type Terastal Pokémon. The card combines a colorful, crystalline design with Pikachu's great popularity and is available in various rarity levels. This makes the set especially appealing to Pikachu fans and Collectors of modern Terastal cards.
The special Stellar Terastal mechanic
Stellar Terastal Pokémon-ex need several different Energy types for their powerful attacks. Pikachu-ex can deal high damage with its Topaz Bolt attack, while other cards in the set help provide the required Energy more quickly. This gives Super Electric Breaker interesting gameplay mechanics alongside its striking design.
More Pokémon-ex and rare cards
Alongside Pikachu-ex, Super Electric Breaker contains other Pokémon-ex such as Hydreigon-ex, Milotic-ex, Lopunny-ex, and Flamigo-ex. They are complemented by Art Rare, Special Product Art Rare, and ACE SPEC cards with special illustrations and effects. This gives the expansion a variety of designs for Collectors and versatile cards for the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
