Pokémon - Bill 1st Edition #91/102 Base Set (1999) German – PSA 9 Mint

If you’re looking to specifically add to the classic Pokémon Base Set, Bill #91/102 in the German 1st Edition is a clear choice. This Trainer card comes from the early Base Set era and has exactly the kind of vintage character many Collectors look for when building their Collection by set and Language. The PSA 9 grade also gives you a graded Single Card that’s easy to display and store safely. With a card like Bill, it’s not just the artwork that matters, but also its clear association with the first Pokémon generation.

If you want to complete your Base Set not just by filling major gaps, but by targeting individual key cards, this one is a great fit. Bill isn’t a flashy Holo card, but Trainer cards like this are often what make an early set feel complete. For Collectors who prefer a clear structure over random single-card purchases, the graded German version is a practical choice. If you’re looking for a gift for a vintage Pokémon fan, a familiar Trainer card from the Base Set is usually a safer bet than a random modern product.

For vintage Pokémon cards, the Language often plays a bigger role than you might first think. If you keep your Collection in German, you probably don’t want English or mixed-language cards in it. That makes Bill from the Base Set a particularly good fit for a German-language Collection that’s consistently organized by edition. The 1st Edition also gives the card a clear historical context. For Collectors who care not only about the artwork but also about the card’s clear set provenance, that’s an important detail.

Bill is especially appealing if you're not looking for a single favorite card, but want to build a set systematically. Trainer cards from the Base Set are often underestimated, even though they're just as important as the better-known Pokémon themselves in a complete Collection. The PSA 9 grade supports a clear, easy-to-follow collector presentation. So if you want to expand your German Pokémon Collection in a structured way, this Single Card is a much more targeted choice than a random purchase with no clear connection to the set.

Compared with an ungraded vintage card, this gives you a clearly documented version with protection and a condition rating. That’s especially convenient if you want to archive your cards properly, not just collect them. A regular Single Card may seem cheaper, but often comes with more uncertainty about its Condition. Bill’s PSA 9 version takes that uncertainty off your hands and makes the card easier to compare, especially if you store several Base Set cards side by side or prefer graded cards.

The card is a good choice for Collectors looking to expand their vintage portfolio with a clear focus, rather than just chasing big Holo names. Collecting German Pokémon cards also becomes noticeably more cohesive with a 1st Edition like Bill, because the Language and set fit together perfectly. Anyone looking for a historical Trainer card in graded condition will find a fitting addition to a well-curated Collection. It’s also an accessible entry point into the Base Set world for Beginners to vintage cards.

As a graded Single Card, Bill is primarily intended for collecting and display. Many buyers keep cards like these in the Slab permanently, as this keeps them well protected and easy to archive. If you prefer viewing vintage cards unopened as part of an organized Collection, this format is pleasantly straightforward. Of course, there’s nothing to open here, but you get a card that fits neatly into an existing Base Set or PSA collection. That’s exactly what makes it so appealing to organized Collectors.

If you value consistency when building your Collection, Bill is a very practical Single Card. The combination of German Language, 1st Edition, and PSA 9 makes it easy to categorize and pleasantly versatile. It fits in vintage binders, themed PSA series, and collections that feature the Base Set in full or as a nearly complete set. If you're specifically looking for a classic Trainer card from the early Pokémon TCG, this product offers a distinct identity and strong collector appeal.
