AoS Disciples of Tzeentch: Blue Horrors

If you want to complement your Disciples of Tzeentch army with a thematically fitting Daemon unit, Blue Horrors are an obvious choice. The Warhammer Age of Sigmar set includes several miniatures, making it a great fit for players who want to expand their army with a full unit rather than just individual models. Collectors also benefit, as the set clearly belongs to the Tzeentch line and fits neatly into a Chaos Collection. If you're looking for a compact but effective addition, this is the right choice.

Many buyers choose a squad box like this when they want to expand their army in a playable and thematically cohesive way. The Blue Horrors do that very well. They make sense if you’re not looking for a single showpiece, but for several models to build, paint, and plan units around. Compared with a large monster or character model, they’re often the more practical purchase because they can be used more directly in army lists and collections. For many Tzeentch Players, that’s an important difference.

The box contains not only ten Blue Horror miniatures, but also ten Brimstone Horrors as companion models. This makes the set more appealing to many buyers, since it includes more than just the main unit. For hobbyists, this means extra variety when assembling and painting. If you enjoy working with multiple small models, you get much more variety here than with a simple single box. Details like these are exactly what give the box a place of its own in the Collection and on the tabletop.

Blue Horrors are a great choice if you want to add another unit that fits seamlessly into your Disciples of Tzeentch army. When it comes to actually building out a list, units like these often help more than the next big model. If you plan your army step by step, this gives you a solid foundation for adding more options for play. The included round bases make it easy to incorporate the set into your hobby routine, making it especially useful for active Players.

The Blue Horrors are appealing to Collectors because they’re a distinctive Chaos unit with their own style. If you collect Tzeentch models systematically, this box is a great way to round out an existing range. The combination of the main models and accompanying miniatures makes this set feel more lively than standard units alone. If you enjoy completing factions or building themed lines in your Collection, this set is a great addition. It feels less like a random product and more like a fitting part of the bigger picture.

One advantage of sets like this is that you don’t just get one model, but several projects at once. This is great for hobbyists who like variety and don’t want to build the same figure every time. With the Blue Horrors, you can add some variety to the poses and paint schemes without having to tackle a huge monster. Anyone who prefers working on several smaller figures will often enjoy this more than a single large miniature. That makes the box especially flexible.

If you’re torn between a unit and a showpiece, your current goal is what matters. A large model draws more attention, but Blue Horrors offer more practical value for your army and Collection in everyday use. Especially if you want to build your list from scratch or sensibly expand an existing army, several smaller models are often the better buy. If you’re only looking for a centerpiece, though, a Lord of Change would be the more eye-catching alternative. Both have their place, but here, practical value as a unit is what counts.

The Blue Horrors are naturally also appealing as a sealed set for Collectors, especially if you want to keep your Disciples of Tzeentch products unopened. In most cases, though, buyers will open the box because the real value lies in building and using the miniatures. The clear faction identity is a plus for Sealed collections. If, on the other hand, you want to build a Tzeentch unit as quickly as possible, opening the box is the more sensible option.
