AoS Blades of Khorne: Bloodletters

If you want to expand your Blades of Khorne army with a classic melee unit, Bloodletters are an excellent choice. The Warhammer Age of Sigmar miniatures bring Khorne’s aggressive character straight to the tabletop and are a great fit for Players looking to reinforce their Chaos force with a distinctive unit. Collectors who prefer daemonic models with a striking look will also find this set a fitting addition to their Collection. The box is compact, but its contents are clearly designed to make up a true unit.

Bloodletters are especially worthwhile when you’re not looking for a major centerpiece for your army, but rather a reliable unit with a strong theme. For Blades of Khorne Players, they’re a practical choice because the models immediately reinforce the army’s feel and fit well into existing lists. If you prefer small, targeted additions, you’ll get more value here than from a purely decorative single miniature. When building a Chaos army, a unit like this is often a more sensible next step than another large character model.

Bloodletters are exciting for many Collectors because they are among the iconic daemon units in the Warhammer universe. If you’re building a Khorne Collection or specifically assembling daemon models, this box is easy to place and fits the army’s theme perfectly. Since the models are supplied unpainted and unassembled, they’re ideal for planning as a hobby project of your own. For Collectors who want their Chaos range to be not only complete but visually cohesive, this is a very useful set.

In the game, Bloodletters are particularly interesting if you're looking for a unit with a direct, aggressive focus. They fit well with Blades of Khorne, since the army is already geared toward pressure and melee combat. If you want to round out your list effectively, a unit like this is often more valuable than another individual hero. The included options for a Bloodreaper, Icon Bearer, and Hornblower also give you some flexibility when assembling the unit. This gives you a unit that makes sense not only visually, but also when building your list.

With ten multi-part miniatures and matching round bases, the box provides enough material for a classic unit set. That’s useful if you regularly build, paint, and want to expand your army piece by piece. Many buyers quickly discover that a complete unit is often more satisfying than scattered individual models, especially with Warhammer miniatures. Bloodletters are therefore a great choice for anyone looking to expand their Collection systematically and with a clear direction.

If you're torn between a unit of troops and a large monster or character model, the decision depends heavily on your goal. Bloodletters are the better choice if you want to add something playable to your army and aren't just looking for a showpiece. Larger models make a more spectacular impression, but Bloodletters often serve the more important purpose in building an army. That's exactly why many Blades of Khorne Players pick up a unit like this first, before turning to the more eye-catching figures.

The models come unpainted and unassembled, which is just right for many hobbyists. You can take your time assembling them and customize the unit to suit the rest of your army. Anyone who enjoys planning, painting, and carefully building their Chaos Collection will benefit from this flexibility. Bloodletters aren’t just a product to put on display, but one that fits into a larger hobby project. That makes the box especially appealing to active Warhammer fans.

For most buyers, Bloodletters are clearly a build-and-play product. But if you prefer to collect your Warhammer purchases unopened, a unit like this can also fit nicely into a Chaos Collection. The main thing is to know before buying whether you’re looking for a playable unit or another piece for your Sealed Collection. Both are possible, but the greatest value is clearly in building and fielding them on the tabletop.
