40k Necrons: Necron Warriors

If you want to build your Necron army with a genuinely useful core force rather than a single model, the Necron Warriors are an excellent place to start. This set is part of Warhammer 40.000 and gives you classic Necron infantry that fits easily into existing armies. If you’re looking for a faction that immediately looks like Necrons on the tabletop and feels unmistakably like basic infantry, this set is exactly the kind of building block you’ll be glad to use again and again.

Many Players choose Necron Warriors when they want to build up their list sensibly, rather than just buying a single character model. They’re a practical choice for building an army, since a standard unit quickly gives you more presence on the table. Even if you’re just getting to know Warhammer 40.000, this kind of kit is pleasantly straightforward. You get a unit you can paint, bring into battle, and later expand with more Necron models, instead of committing right away to a very specialized choice.

For many Necron Collectors, it’s not just the model itself that matters, but also the role it plays in the faction. Necron Warriors are one of the units that let you build a Collection in a cohesive and convincing way, because they embody the classic image of a Necron army. Anyone who wants to collect a complete and coherent faction often needs exactly these kinds of basic units, rather than just eye-catching showpiece models. That makes the set interesting even if you prefer to expand your Collection gradually and with a clear structure.

When you play Warhammer 40.000, Necron Warriors are especially useful because they give your army a reliable infantry foundation. This is particularly helpful if you don't want to rely solely on large individual models or specialist picks, but need a functional force that can hold objectives and contribute to the game. The set is also a good choice for Beginners, as a unit like this lets you learn many of the game's basic principles without immediately getting into complex special rules.

Those who collect Necrons often aren’t looking for just any model, but one that clearly belongs to their faction. This is exactly where Necron Warriors shine. They work equally well in armies, display cabinets, and hobby projects, making them more than just filler. If you want to add Necron infantry to your Warhammer 40.000 Collection, this set is an obvious addition that pairs well later with vehicles, Elites, or character models.

With Warhammer 40.000, Language doesn’t play as big a role as it does with Trading cards, but many hobbyists still pay attention to consistent assembly instructions and clear product categorization. If you like to keep your hobby projects consistent, you’ll often deliberately choose a version that matches the rest of your Collection. This is especially helpful when you’re building several boxes from the same faction at the same time or want to document your army neatly over the long term. That keeps the project organized and makes the overall concept feel more cohesive.

Compared with elite units or vehicles, Necron Warriors are a much more straightforward choice if you're looking for a solid foundation to start with. One major advantage is that they immediately broaden your army, rather than leaving you with just a single centerpiece. So if you're torn between a specialist unit and a core troop choice, Warriors are usually the more practical option to start with. For many Necron armies, they're exactly the backbone everything else is built on later.

This set is especially interesting for buyers who want to do more than just collect—they really want to build and play. Anyone who regularly brings Warhammer 40.000 to the table benefits from a unit that fits naturally into a larger army. You can also keep the Necron Warriors as part of a structured Collection, of course, if you want to complete your faction step by step. For anyone looking for a lasting foundation for their Necrons, this is a very reliable building block.
