40k Astra Militarum: Tempestus Scions

If you're looking for a precise and versatile elite unit for your Warhammer 40.000 Astra Militarum army, the Tempestus Scions are an excellent choice. The set contains 10 multipart plastic miniatures that can be assembled as a unit or a command squad. It also includes options for special weapons and command components, as well as the matching round bases. This box is ideal for Players looking to expand their Imperial force in a structured way, as well as Collectors who prefer military-themed miniatures.

This unit is especially worthwhile if you want to fill out your Astra Militarum list with more than just standard infantry. The Tempestus Scions give your army a clearer elite focus and feel much more specialized on the tabletop. For Players who plan their army project deliberately, that’s a real plus, because the box serves a genuine purpose rather than simply being an add-on. If you’re looking for new options for your game, this is a very logical purchase. The unit brings structure to your list.

Collectors especially like the Tempestus Scions for their crisp military look and strong faction identity. The miniatures look more disciplined and specialized than many standard troops, making them a great fit for an imperial-themed Collection. If you collect Astra Militarum products with a distinctly elite look, this box is a very fitting addition. It feels deliberate and well organized rather than random. That is exactly what makes it appealing for structured collections.

The included special weapons and command components give you more freedom when building than you might expect at first glance. This is helpful if you want to tailor your unit to your project instead of simply building it in a standard configuration. For hobbyists, this kind of choice is often exactly what keeps a set interesting over the long term. You get enough flexibility not only to build the Scions, but also to customize them to suit your army. That adds considerable hobby value.

In the game, the Scions really shine when you need a more precise, better-equipped unit in your Astra Militarum army. They’re a great fit for buyers who want to build their list not just broadly, but with a specific purpose in mind. That makes this set less of a spontaneous addition and more of a deliberate step toward an elite unit. If you like giving your units clear roles in your army, you’ll quickly see the value here. This keeps your build focused.

Compared with standard infantry, the Tempestus Scions seem much more specialized and militarily disciplined. If you’re choosing between a regular squad box and an elite unit, this box is the better choice when you want more precision and character in your army. For many Players, that difference is exactly what matters because it makes the list more interesting. The Scions therefore serve a different role than ordinary foot soldiers.

The Tempestus Scions are a good choice for Astra Militarum Players looking to add an elite option to their army, and for Collectors who appreciate the precise Imperial style. The box is also appealing to hobbyists, as it can be assembled neatly and customized in many ways. If you’re looking for a set that fits clearly into an army plan and isn’t just decorative, this unit is a great choice. It’s functional and visually striking enough to hold its own in a Collection.

The Tempestus Scions show their true value when assembling and playing them, because that’s when you can make direct use of the options. If you actively play Warhammer 40.000, opening the box is usually the most sensible choice. Of course, if you specifically collect Astra Militarum boxes, you can also keep the unit as part of a themed faction collection. This makes the product useful for both Players and Collectors.
