Warning about fake shops and counterfeit cardcosmos websites

Important security notice from cardcosmos GmbH: We are aware of websites that attempt to create the impression that they are affiliated with cardcosmos by using similar-looking names, our brand, our products, or our company information.

In particular, we warn against websites operating under names such as “cardcusmos.” “cardcusmos” is not cardcosmos. Such websites are not operated by cardcosmos GmbH, are not authorized by us, and have no business relationship with us.

We expressly advise you not to place an order, enter payment details, or submit personal information on a website using the name cardcusmos.

cardcusmos is not associated with cardcosmos

The correct spelling of our brand is:

cardcosmos

A spelling such as cardcusmos is not associated with our company. The similarity can easily create the impression that it is an official shop or sales channel of cardcosmos. It is not.

cardcosmos GmbH has not authorized the operators of such websites to impersonate cardcosmos or create the impression of a business relationship with us.

Our official cardcosmos websites

Our official German online shop is:

cardcusmos.com

In addition, we operate the following official country domains:

cardcusmos.com
cardcosmos.at
cardcosmos.ch
cardcosmos.es
cardcosmos.fr
cardcosmos.it
cardcosmos.nl
cardcosmos.pl

The corresponding versions with www. may also belong to our official shops.

If a website uses a similar-sounding name but cannot be accessed through one of our official cardcosmos domains, you should be especially cautious.

How to spot potential fake shops

So-called typosquatting or imitation sites often change just a few letters in a well-known brand name. This can make a web address look genuine at first glance.

For example, look out for:

transposed or substituted letters,
additional or missing letters,
Spellings such as “cardcusmos” instead of “cardcosmos”,
unusual domains or domains that are not associated with cardcosmos,
Contact addresses that do not belong to our official domains,
Websites that use our brand, product images, or company information but are not operated by us.

Check the web address before placing an order

Before placing an order with a purported cardcosmos shop, always check the spelling of the domain in your browser's address bar.

The brand name must be spelled correctly as cardcosmos.

If you are unsure, go directly to our shop at cardcusmos.com rather than following an unfamiliar link from a search engine, advertisement, email, or social media post.

Have you found a suspicious website?

If you come across a website that appears to belong to cardcosmos but is not available at one of our official domains, please contact us.

The following are particularly helpful:

the web address of the suspicious website,
a screenshot,
Information about where you found the website or link,
details of any order placed there, if applicable.

Please contact us using our official contact options at cardcusmos.com, or email us at support@cardcusmos.com

Have you already placed an order on a suspicious website?

If you have already placed an order or entered payment details on a website using a similarly spelled name such as cardcusmos, we recommend contacting your payment provider or bank as soon as possible.

Do not enter any additional personal or payment information on the website in question.
