What are graded Pokémon cards?

Graded Pokémon cards have been examined and evaluated by an independent Grading provider and then sealed in a protective Sealed Case, often called a Slab. The card’s Condition is assessed based on various characteristics. For example, PSA grades cards from 1 to 10, with a PSA 10, or Gem Mint, representing the highest regular condition grade. Anyone looking to buy graded Pokémon cards gets a collectible card whose Condition has been documented by the respective Grading provider.

Collect PSA Pokémon cards in German

PSA is one of the best-known providers of Grading for Trading cards. It first checks cards for authenticity before assessing their Condition and then sealing them. A PSA grade can be of interest to Collectors, especially for older German Pokémon cards or popular artwork. That’s why this collection features a range of PSA Pokémon cards to buy, from classic sets to more recent expansions.

German classics as graded collectibles

Cards from early German Pokémon sets are especially popular as graded examples. One example from the current selection is Pokémon – Bulbasaur #44 German Base Set – PSA 10 Gem Mint. The German-language card from the Base Set was graded PSA 10 and is housed in a sealed PSA slab. Cards like these are suited to Collectors looking specifically for Pokémon from classic expansions and high Grading grades.

Explore different grades and Grading providers

Not every graded card has the top grade of 10—and that’s exactly what makes for a wide selection of different collectibles. In the collection, you’ll find cards graded by AOG or PGS, for example, as well as by PSA. The Pokémon – Charizard 4/102 Basis Set 1st – AOG 3.5 Played shows that even heavily played vintage cards can be professionally graded and collected in a protective case.

Graded Pokémon cards in German or English?

The card’s Language is independent of its Grading and can be an important part of a personal collecting goal. This Collection focuses on German-language cards. If you prefer international cards, you can explore our Pokémon Graded cards in English You can also find even more English-language Boosters, boxes, and single cards under Pokémon cards in English.

Single Card instead of a random Booster opening

Graded Pokémon cards are quite different from Boosters or a Pokémon TCG card Bundle. Instead of drawing random cards, you choose a specific Pokémon, set, Grading, and documented Condition. This makes graded single cards especially appealing if you want to fill specific gaps in your Collection or display particular favorite cards as a Slab.

Graded Trading cards from various TCGs

Grading is not exclusive to Pokémon. Cards from other Trading Card Games can also be professionally graded and protected. If you want to expand your Collection beyond Pokémon, you can find graded Trading cards a selection of Slabs across languages and TCGs. This lets you compare cards from different games, Grading providers, and condition levels.

Graded Pokémon cards as a special gift

A graded card can also make a special gift for Pokémon fans, as you can choose a favorite Pokémon, a specific expansion, or a desired Grade. If you’re looking for other high-quality gift ideas in addition to Slabs, you’ll find more boxes, Displays, and collector’s items under Pokémon Premium Gifts. If you want to buy graded Pokémon cards, you can choose between modern cards and vintage classics to suit your budget and collecting goals.
