Magic: The Gathering Bloomburrow at a glance
Magic: The Gathering Bloomburrow was released on August 2, 2024, and takes you to an idyllic fantasy world full of small but courageous animal folk. Instead of classic humans, Bloomburrow puts mice, rabbits, squirrels, bats, frogs, and birds, among others, in the spotlight. The set combines unusual artwork with strategic gameplay mechanics and appeals to both Collectors and Players. You can find other special Magic expansions, for example, at Magic: The Gathering Modern Horizons 3.
Offspring, gift, and other Bloomburrow mechanics
Bloomburrow introduces two new mechanics: offspring and gift. With offspring, you can pay an additional mana cost to create a smaller 1/1 copy of a creature. Gift, on the other hand, lets you give an opponent a card, a Food token, or another resource, for example, to unlock additional effects. These mechanics are joined by Forage, Valiant, and other abilities that playfully bring the set’s animal theme to life.
Bloomburrow Play Booster Display for big openings
The Magic: The Gathering Bloomburrow Play Booster Box – English contains 36 Play Booster with 14 cards each. Play Booster are suitable both for regular opening and for Limited formats such as Draft and Sealed. If you prefer to open individual packs or combine different expansions, you can find more sets and booster formats under Magic: The Gathering Booster packs.
Bloomburrow Collector Booster for special card variants
The Magic: The Gathering Bloomburrow Collector Booster Box – English is geared more toward Collectors of special card variants. It contains twelve Collector Booster with 15 cards each and offers a greater focus on rares, foil cards, alternate illustrations, and special treatments. This makes the Collector Booster Box clearly different from the classic Play Booster Display.
Four Bloomburrow Commander decks with their own strategies
Four Commander decks with different animal and gameplay themes were released for Bloomburrow: Peace Offering, Family Matters, Animated Army, and Squirreled Away. Each Deck is ready to play right away and offers its own strategy. For example, the Bloomburrow Squirreled Away Commander Deck – English contains 100 cards and focuses thematically on squirrels and related synergies.
Bloomburrow Bundle with boosters, lands, and Accessories
A Magic: The Gathering Bloomburrow Bundle is a compact alternative to a full Booster Display. The English Bundle combines nine Play Booster with 30 lands, including 20 full-art lands, as well as additional Accessories. This makes the product suitable for Players who want to get to know Bloomburrow in greater depth without opening a complete Booster Box right away. Magic Beginner boxes in English are also available for Beginners.
Bloomburrow is also appealing to new Magic players
Its clear animal theme and easily distinguishable creature types also make Bloomburrow a great fit for Players who are just getting to know Magic. The set offers simple thematic entry points, while more experienced Players can dive deeper into synergies and mechanics. If you'd rather start with German card text, you'll find suitable starter products at Magic: The Gathering starter boxes in German.
