Chinese booster boxes in stock: Gem Pack, Collect 151, and Brilliant Fantasy
The Chinese Pokémon TCG offers a range of product lines and booster formats that differ in the number of boosters, cards per pack, and focus. You can find an overview of the various formats in our Pokémon Booster displays. Among the most popular Chinese products are the Gem Packs: Gem Pack Vol. 4 and Gem Pack Vol. 5 each contain 18 Booster packs with four holographic cards per pack, with a particular focus on special Foil variants and exclusive artwork. Collect 151: Gathering features the original 151 Pokémon and is available, among other formats, as a Slim Booster Box with 15 boosters of five cards each. Sets such as Brilliant Fantasy CSV8C and Stellar Crystal CSV9C are available in compact Slim Boosters or larger Jumbo Boosters, depending on the product. Chasing Glory CSV10C also expands the Chinese range with various Booster and specialty products. Depending on the set, you can choose from classic Displays, Slim Booster boxes, Jumbo Booster boxes, and special collector products.
Gem Pack Vol. 4 to Vol. 6: the latest Chinese Displays
Gem Pack Vol. 4, Gem Pack Vol. 5 and Gem Pack Vol. 6 are part of the China-exclusive Gem Pack series. Since Vol. 4, each Displays contains 18 Booster with four holographic cards per pack, for a total of 72 cards per box. The different volumes feature different Pokémon and artwork themes. Gem Packs are known for their various Foil patterns, special Illustration Cards, and collector-focused card variants that differ significantly from regular expansions. This makes the Displays particularly appealing to Collectors looking for exclusive Chinese artwork and unusual card variants. You can find which Gem Pack volumes are currently available directly in the Chinese Pokémon range at cardcosmos.
Collect 151 Gathering and Chinese Gift Boxes
Collect 151: Gathering is the fourth and final mainland China release in the Collect 151 series and focuses on the original 151 Kanto Pokémon. There are also Chinese gift box and gift formats that combine Booster packs with promo cards and Accessories. For example, a Journey Collection Gift Box may contain various Booster packs as well as themed Accessories; variants featuring Charizard are especially appealing to Collectors. These boxes are especially worthwhile if you want to do more than just open Booster packs and also get exclusive promo cards, Sleeves, or other Accessories for your Pokémon Collection. You can also find more boxes and special products in the Pokémon Collections.
Simplified or Traditional Chinese: which language version you’ll get
For Chinese Pokémon cards, the language designation is crucial. Simplified Chinese (简体中文) is used for official Pokémon TCG products in mainland China. In the shop, you can usually identify these items by labels such as “Chinese” and, in particular, the explicit designation “Simplified Chinese.” Traditional Chinese (繁體中文), on the other hand, is used in markets such as Taiwan and Hong Kong. Both are official Chinese-language versions, but they differ visibly in their characters and sometimes in their regional product ranges. It is therefore important not to automatically equate “Chinese” with Simplified Chinese. cardcosmos mainly carries products in Simplified Chinese from mainland China, but also offers some items in Traditional Chinese, such as the Collect 151 Hope Coin Set EX. You can find the specific language version in each product description.
Original and sealed: how to identify genuine Chinese products
For genuine Chinese Pokémon products, you should look beyond the Price. Check, among other things, that the factory film or shrink wrap is clean and undamaged, and that the box, print quality, and seal look authentic. Depending on the product line, you may find set codes such as CSV8C, CSV9C, or CSV10C on the product and packaging. Official manufacturer and licensing information related to Pokémon or The Pokémon Company is also an important point of reference. An originally sealed Booster Display should not have been opened, searched, or shrink-wrapped again afterward. Be especially cautious of fakes or goods from unverifiable sources. A reprint, on the other hand, is not automatically a counterfeit, as official reprints also exist. cardcosmos sources TCG products through official distributors and authorized wholesalers and inspects the goods before shipping. For more information about genuine products, shipping, and buyer protection, see the frequently asked questions from cardcosmos.
Shipping from Germany instead of direct import from Asia
The main advantage over ordering directly from China is the straightforward shipping. In-stock Chinese Pokémon products are shipped from Germany. The cardcosmos warehouse and the cardcosmos Store in Fahrdorf are located in Schleswig-Holstein. Within Germany, the Delivery time for in-stock items is generally just a few business days. Shipping costs are €4.99 per order, and shipping within Germany is free above the applicable threshold. In-stock orders are processed promptly, securely packaged, and shipped with DHL. You can pay using popular payment methods such as PayPal, Klarna, credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. This means you avoid having to import the items yourself, deal with customs, and wait for the often considerably longer international shipping routes involved in ordering directly from Asia.

What Chinese Pokémon booster boxes cost
Prices for Chinese Pokémon booster boxes vary considerably depending on the set, product format, and current availability. Gem Pack displays often range from around €30 to €50, with a Gem Pack Vol. 5, for example, costing about €40. With 18 boosters per Booster Display, that works out to a Price of around €2 to €3 per Booster, depending on the Offer. Larger jumbo Booster displays from series like Stellar Crystal or Chasing Glory can cost around €50 to €70, but contain significantly more cards per Booster. A direct price comparison should therefore always take the pack size into account as well. Overall, many Chinese products are attractively priced and can be an interesting alternative to other Asian Pokémon editions.
Are Chinese Pokémon cards tournament legal?
Chinese Pokémon cards are generally not accepted as a regular card language at official Play! Pokémon Championship Series events in Europe. European Championship Series tournaments accept other designated languages. Different rules may apply at local tournaments and league events, depending on the organizer. So if you buy Chinese cards, you should primarily consider them collectibles for Binders, Displays, and openings. If you actually want to play a particular Chinese card in a tournament, always check the current tournament rules and the requirements of the specific organizer in advance.
Single cards or sealed Booster Display: what suits your goal
Whether a Single Card or a sealed Booster Display is better for you depends mainly on your collecting goals. If you're looking for a specific Secret Rare, Illustration Rare or Alt Art, Pokémon Single Cards are usually the more direct and predictable option. This is especially true if you want to complete a set or buy a specific card for Grading. You can find collectibles that have already been professionally graded among the graded Pokémon cards. A sealed Booster Display, on the other hand, is better suited to the opening experience, discovering a new Chinese set or adding to a Sealed collection. If you prefer to collect with a specific goal in mind, Single Cards are the way to go; if you're looking for surprises, pack openings and an unopened collectible product, a booster box is usually the better choice.
