Chinese booster boxes in stock: Gem Pack, Collect 151, and Brilliant Fantasy
The Chinese Pokémon TCG offers various product lines and Booster formats that differ in the number of Boosters, cards per pack, and focus. You can find an overview of the different formats in our Pokémon Booster displays. Among the most sought-after Chinese products are the Gem Packs: Gem Pack Vol. 4 and Gem Pack Vol. 5 each contain 18 Boosters with four holographic cards per pack and focus particularly on special Foil variants and exclusive artwork. Collect 151: Gathering features the original 151 Pokémon and is available, among other formats, as a Slim Booster Box with 15 Boosters of five cards each. Sets such as Brilliant Fantasy CSV8C and Stellar Crystal CSV9C are available with compact Slim Boosters or larger Jumbo Boosters, depending on the product. Chasing Glory CSV10C also expands the Chinese range with various Booster and special products. This allows you to choose between classic Displays, Slim Booster Boxes, Jumbo Booster Boxes, and special collector's products, depending on the set.
Gem Pack Vol. 4 to Vol. 6: the current Chinese Displays
Gem Pack Vol. 4, Gem Pack Vol. 5, and Gem Pack Vol. 6 are part of the China-exclusive Gem Pack series. Since Vol. 4, each display has contained 18 Booster packs with four holographic cards per pack, for a total of 72 cards per box. The individual volumes focus on different Pokémon and artwork themes. Gem Packs are known for their various Foil patterns, special Illustration Cards, and collector-focused card variants that clearly differ from regular expansions. This makes the Displays particularly interesting for Collectors looking for exclusive Chinese artwork and unusual card variants. You can find which Gem Pack volumes are currently available directly in the Chinese Pokémon range at cardcosmos.
Collect 151 Gathering and Chinese Gift Boxes
Collect 151: Gathering is the fourth and final mainland China release in the Collect 151 series and focuses on the original 151 Kanto Pokémon. There are also Chinese gift box and gift formats that combine Boosters with promo cards and Accessories. For example, a Journey Collection Gift Box may contain various Boosters as well as themed Accessories; variants featuring Charizard, known as Glurak in German, are especially interesting for Collectors. Such boxes are particularly worthwhile if you want not only to open Boosters but also receive exclusive promo cards, Sleeves, or other Accessories for your Pokémon Collection at the same time. You can also find more boxes and special products in the Pokémon Collections.
Simplified or Traditional Chinese: which language version you will receive
For Chinese Pokémon cards, the language specification is crucial. Simplified Chinese (简体中文) is used for official Pokémon TCG products in mainland China. In the shop, you can generally identify these items by labels such as “CHN” and, in particular, the explicit designation “Simplified Chinese.” Traditional Chinese (繁體中文), on the other hand, is used for markets including Taiwan and Hong Kong. Both are official Chinese language versions, but they visibly differ in their characters and, in some cases, in their regional product ranges. It is therefore important not to automatically equate “CHN” with Simplified Chinese. cardcosmos primarily carries products in Simplified Chinese from mainland China, but also offers individual items in Traditional Chinese, such as the Collect 151 Hope Coin Set EX. You can find the specific language version in the product description.
Original and sealed: how to identify genuine Chinese products
When buying genuine Chinese Pokémon products, you should not focus solely on the Price. Among other things, check whether the factory film or Shrink Wrap is clean and undamaged and whether the box, print quality, and seal appear credible. Depending on the product line, you may find set codes such as CSV8C, CSV9C, or CSV10C on the product and packaging. Official manufacturer and licensing information relating to Pokémon and The Pokémon Company is also an important point of reference. An originally sealed Booster Display should not have been opened, searched, or resealed afterward. Be especially cautious with fakes or goods from unverifiable sources. A reprint, on the other hand, is not automatically a counterfeit, as official reprints also exist. cardcosmos sources TCG products through official distributors and authorized wholesalers and inspects the goods before shipping. You can find more information about genuine products, shipping, and buyer protection in the frequently asked questions from cardcosmos.
Shipping from Germany instead of direct import from Asia
The major advantage over ordering directly from China is the straightforward shipping process. Chinese Pokémon products that are in stock are shipped from Germany. The cardcosmos warehouse and the cardcosmos Store in Fahrdorf are located in Schleswig-Holstein. Within Germany, the Delivery time for in-stock items is usually just a few business days. Shipping costs are €4.99 per order; above the applicable threshold, shipping within Germany is free. In-stock orders are processed promptly, securely packaged, and shipped with DHL. You can pay using common payment methods such as PayPal, Klarna, credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. This means you do not have to handle importing, contact customs, or deal with the often significantly longer international transport routes involved in ordering directly from Asia.

How much Chinese Pokémon booster boxes cost
The prices of Chinese Pokémon Booster boxes depend heavily on the set, product format, and current availability. Gem Pack Booster Displays often range roughly from €30 to €50, with a Gem Pack Vol. 5, for example, costing around €40. With 18 Boosters per Booster Display, this results in a Price of approximately €2 to €3 per Booster, depending on the Offer. Larger Jumbo Booster Displays from series such as Stellar Crystal or Chasing Glory can cost roughly between €50 and €70 depending on the set, but they contain significantly more cards per Booster. A direct Price comparison should therefore always take the respective pack size into account. Overall, many Chinese products are attractively priced and can be an interesting alternative to other Asian Pokémon editions.
Are Chinese Pokémon cards legal for tournaments?
Chinese Pokémon cards are generally not accepted as a regular card language for official Play! Pokémon Championship Series events in Europe. Other designated languages are accepted for European Championship Series tournaments. Different rules may apply at local tournaments and league events, depending on the organizer. Therefore, anyone buying Chinese cards should primarily view them as collectibles, for Binder, Displays, and openings. If you actually want to play a specific Chinese card in a tournament, you should always check the current tournament regulations and the requirements of the respective organizer in advance.
Single cards or sealed Booster Display: what suits your goal
Whether a Single Card or a Sealed Booster Display is better for you depends primarily on your collecting goal. If you are looking for a specific Secret Rare, Illustration Rare, or Alt Art, Pokémon Single Cards are usually the more direct and predictable option. This is especially true if you want to complete a set or specifically buy a card for Grading. You can find professionally graded collectibles in the graded Pokémon cards section. A Sealed Booster Display, on the other hand, is better suited to the opening experience, discovering a new Chinese set, or adding to a Sealed collection. Those who collect as selectively as possible tend to choose Single Cards; those looking for surprises, pack opening, and an unopened collectible product are usually better served by a Booster Display.
